Happy 30th anniversary!
HWG-member Meynstapler is continuing on its path to growth
In the company of many guests, Meynstapler Vertriebs- und Service GmbH recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of its Cuxhaven service point. Since its founding in 1948, the forklift-company, headquartered in Apensen (Lower Saxony) has developed from a forging plant to a market-leading expert for forklifts. Today, forklifts are sold, rented, maintained and repaired in both Cuxhaven and Apensen.
The company established itself in the market as a forklift-dealer in the 1960s. Another important milestone was the opening of the Cuxhaven site in 1988. The company has been a member of the HWG since 1997. The centrally located plant at the North Sea was completely modernized in 2017. It offers enough capacity for completing orders and repairs from major customers.
Today, the company employs 30 people, working in service and maintaining its forklift fleet, which consists of 120 vehicles. 10 of those 30 employees work in technical field service, assisting customers in the Elbe-Weser delta between Hamburg and Bremen and from Cuxhaven to Verden and Uelzen.
The company wants to continue its growth into the future. “We want to establish ourselves as the market leader in service for forklifts and storage technology in the Elbe-Weser triangle. We also seek to grow together with our business partners, which is in tune with our slogan: ‘moving more – together’. In order to achieve this, we also want to grow in terms of our number of employees,” said Christian Barnbeck, managing director of Meynstapler Vertriebs- und Service GmbH, by way of a comment on the firm’s future plans. The 39-year old has been the sole managing director of Meynstapler Vetriebs- und Service GmbH since 2016.
